Design Project

For once, there is no hidden meaning to it.

Sorry Everyone

Drawing 2 Final is coming up and I don't really have the time to work on anything else, so for the next few days you'll probably just see a whole slew of works in progress.

At least the Blur one is coming along nicely.

Uhh uhh

Quick look it's a whale skeleton

One Day I Will Post Something Actually Cool Here

Today is not that day.

Drawing 2

Unexpected got a DVD from the library today, and those are 7-day loans. I want to watch it before I forget.

So have something I did for Drawing 2 today.

I want to go over the background again in a color (for popitude), but otherwise I like this.

College Drawing Break

Some stuff I did for Drawing 2.

This one needs a background, but the other two pictures are finished.

Eclectic Sketches

Today I visited the exhibit of Shepard Fairey's works as part of my drawing 2 class.

Shepard Fairey often repeats a single image in a wide variety of contexts; this image, the Obey Giant, has become his "brand." I thought about the symbol I used and the special name I gave to myself and how that symbol represented me. (The name is bubblegum paranoids, and the symbol is a skull with a single eye socket and a scar... mostly pictured above).

I realize that the bubblegum paranoids name didn't really describe me at all, and neither did the symbol. So redesigning was in order. I think the round-headed robot is much closer to who I am. In the bottom-left corner is a rendition of one of Fairey's...works? (I don't know if it's a painting/stencil/silkscreen or what have you.)

But enough being deep.

You're here to look at pictures like this.

Stairs

For Drawing 2.

Art Journaling

Started an art journal for Drawing 2 today!

This is page 1. Accidentally uploaded in greyscale, but I'm too lazy to scan a color version right now. XD Maybe later!

Stop! Buffer Time!

Sorry there is buffer today; it was a bit of a stressful sort of time.

Venus de Milo done in Shepard Fairey's style. You'll know him best as "the guy who did the Obama 'change' campaign posters."

Almost Forgot About This

I was scrambling to finish a research paper on time. Nay procrastination. I never learn.

Here is hopefully the last of my Drawing 1 buffer for a while. It is a self portrait in the style of Matisse!

With even an ounce of luck, I'll be talking about Nightmare City again tomorrow.

Finals Consuming my Time

So here's some more Drawing 1 buffer.

Remember What I Said About the Drawing 1 Buffer?

It was foreshadowing for when I couldn't find the camera to show you my Drawing 1 Final WIP that I've been working on today!

Here, have a self-portrait instead.

Erk.

Sorry guys. Very busy and not very fun day today and I really didn't have the time to draw. =|

Here's something I did in drawing class in November. I won't be posting up a lot of these at once because they make good buffer, but as soon as I get fixative on some of the messier but particularly good ones you'll see it.

Sorry for the Lateness

I had another paper to write.

Here's a dude I painted in drawing class.

Another Drawing Class Dude

I didn't quite finish the background on this one before I thought the class ended. It's a long story.

And here I go through another art block ._.

Uninspired

Today I was kind of at a loss on what to post for my blog; hence, late post. Here are some paintings I did in Drawing 1. (Yes, paintings in drawing 1... I know it's silly)

If you have any suggestions as to what you want to see, a comment would be nice.

Today, an Anotomical/Color Study

Tomorrow, focus on the hero of NaNo 09.

Sidetracked

Just some more Drawing 1 midterm stuff.

If you line them up side-by-side, they sort of connect.

Major Crap

I broke schedule.

Dammit.

To make up for it, there will be two posts today.

The first one has... um.

...These two sketches I did for Drawing 1 Midterm.
