Sorry Everyone

Drawing 2 Final is coming up and I don't really have the time to work on anything else, so for the next few days you'll probably just see a whole slew of works in progress.

At least the Blur one is coming along nicely.

Uhh uhh

Quick look it's a whale skeleton

One Day I Will Post Something Actually Cool Here

Today is not that day.

Drawing 2

Unexpected got a DVD from the library today, and those are 7-day loans. I want to watch it before I forget.

So have something I did for Drawing 2 today.

I want to go over the background again in a color (for popitude), but otherwise I like this.

College Drawing Break

Some stuff I did for Drawing 2.

This one needs a background, but the other two pictures are finished.

Eclectic Sketches

Today I visited the exhibit of Shepard Fairey's works as part of my drawing 2 class.

Shepard Fairey often repeats a single image in a wide variety of contexts; this image, the Obey Giant, has become his "brand." I thought about the symbol I used and the special name I gave to myself and how that symbol represented me. (The name is bubblegum paranoids, and the symbol is a skull with a single eye socket and a scar... mostly pictured above).

I realize that the bubblegum paranoids name didn't really describe me at all, and neither did the symbol. So redesigning was in order. I think the round-headed robot is much closer to who I am. In the bottom-left corner is a rendition of one of Fairey's...works? (I don't know if it's a painting/stencil/silkscreen or what have you.)

But enough being deep.

You're here to look at pictures like this.

Art Journaling

Started an art journal for Drawing 2 today!

This is page 1. Accidentally uploaded in greyscale, but I'm too lazy to scan a color version right now. XD Maybe later!
